William R. Johnson

William R. Johnson is the owner/manager of Wodehouse Fund, a family partnership focusing on investments in Jamaica West Indies. Billy is an integral part of the Johnson Family Partners in Sarasota, Fla., a fund investing in a variety of hedge funds, general funds and trading in multiple markets from commodities to equities and futures. Billy has served on the board of directors of the Bambu Fund LLC since 2015.

With Arctaris Michigan Income & Principal-Protected Growth Fund, LP in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., Billy is an investor and serves on the board of advisors. Arctaris Michigan Fund supplies financing to small and midsized companies as owner of a variety of funds, some in partnerships with the state of Michigan plus other states across the United States, with a focus on job creation and returns. Previously he was a trader/consultant with Whitebox Securities. He was founding  partner of Trade Tech in the Greater Chicago, Ill. area, which was later sold to Knight Securities. Billy was a trader/partner with the Chicago Board of Options Exchange for 14 years. He was also a trader/partner with Quinn and Co. and a trader/partner with Kessler Asher Group LP in Chicago, Ill. As a trader/partner for K & M Investments, Billy started his securities experience. His professional career began as the marketing director for Regnery Gateway, a political publishing house.

Billy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. Involved with many wonderful causes, he has served on the board of Historic Spanish Point in Sarasota, Fla. Currently on the board of advisors for The MoneyShow, he shares his expertise to support the focus of investing smarter and trading wiser.
