Marcia L. Dyson

Marcia L. Dyson is an internationally experienced trade facilitator, marketing strategist, and public relations professional with decades of engagement across global economic development, diplomacy, and public–private partnerships. She has worked on the international stage through Operation PUSH, alongside Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., supporting global trade missions, economic diplomacy, and foreign investment engagement connected to the City of Chicago and U.S. stakeholders. Her work has included facilitating international relationships, advising on market entry, narrative positioning, stakeholder alignment, and representing regional and international interests before the U.S. government, civic, and multilateral institutions. Marcia has served as an advisor to Bambu Fund LLC since 2017, became a senior advisor in 2021, and joined Bambu’s board of directors in 2023.

Dyson’s background spans strategic communications, brand architecture, investor-facing narratives, and political–economic strategy, with experience engaging the United Nations, Conference of Black Mayors, Clinton Foundation, and global media platforms. She has also represented CARICOM-related interests in discussions with the U.S. government and policy stakeholders. Her work today focuses on trade facilitation, strategic positioning, investment readiness, and cross-border relationship building, particularly at the intersection of capital, policy, and global markets.

Marcia completed the University of Chicago Executive Program in Business Management and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
