Marsha A. Chong, M.D. is a consultant Anesthetist working at a corporate area hospital in Kingston, Jamaica. Marsha has served as an advisor of the Bambu Fund LLC since 2018.

Born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, Marsha developed a love for the Sciences and Mathematics at an early age. Marsha had the fortune of pursuing her medical degree in Cuba, where she learned a second language and was exposed to different cultures, which helped to broadened her scope and widen her horizon. She graduated from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas de Santiago de Cuba with honors receiving the “Titulo de Oro”. After completing medical school, she returned home to help with nation building. Marsha advanced her medical career by completing the Doctor of Medicine program for Anaesthetics and Intensive Care at the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica. She is committed to promoting healthy living plus assisting her community as an avid runner and a member of Lion’s International.
