Kayin Barclay has developed expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, portfolio management, and financial modeling. Additionally, he has knowledge in the real estate and manufacturing sectors. Kayin has served as an advisor of the Bambu Fund LLC since 2015.

Most recently, Kayin was a senior vice president at Insight Equity, a private equity firm in Southlake, Texas. Before Insight Equity, he was an associate at RLJ Equity Partners, a private equity firm, and an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Barclays Capital’s Investment Banking Division in New York City. Before entering investment banking, Kayin worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company in Atlanta, Ga.

Kayin earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in Boston, Mass. Mr. Barclay graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga., where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, named a Presidential Scholar and selected as a J.P. Morgan Launching Leaders Scholar. In addition to his passion for travel, Mr. Barclay likes to volunteer and play chess; he achieved the National Master Title in 2008.
