Divine K.D. Letsa, LLB, QCL

Divine K.D. Letsa has close to fifty years of law practice in Ghana that has brought him recognition as a well-respected lawyer and a high professional standing in the Superior Courts of Ghana and among colleague lawyers.

In 2017, Attorney Letsa associated himself with the mission and vision of the Bambu Fund LLC; he became a Bambu Fund advisor in 2020. As an advisor, Attorney Letsa brings his total life experience to advance the Fund’s cause of promoting optimum care for the elderly advocating for Bambu to extend its mission and vision to Ghana in particular and generally in Africa.

A founding partner of the highly successful law firm, Bentsi-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah in Accra, Ghana, and its extensive network in Africa and worldwide, Attorney Letsa has incomparable exposure and experience in doing business in Ghana, Nigeria, and other parts of Africa. As head of the Construction Infrastructure and Transport Team at Bentsi-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah, Attorney Letsa advised and participated in the development of energy infrastructure, hotel and large-scale residential estates among many others.

Working his way through the courts in Ghana, conducting civil and criminal suits, Attorney Letsa tried cases, some of which are in the Ghana Law Reports and the Ghana Bar Reports. Four years of practice as a State Counsel, in the Cross River State of Nigeria, provided invaluable cross border practical experience as a lawyer.

Attorney Letsa was called to the Ghana Bar as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1975, having obtained the Qualifying Certificate in Law (QCL) from the Ghana School of Law in the same year. In 1973, he earned the Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB(Hons)) from the University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana, after completing his secondary school education at the Mawuli School in Ho, Ghana.
