Allilbecca Villa Retirement Home in Mandeville, Jamaica, established in 2001, is the cornerstone of Rev. Lilla R. Martin’s ministry of providing personal care for retired community members, especially people seeking assistance with daily living activities. Bambu Fund acquired Allilbecca Villa to build upon Rev. Martin's decades of commitment. Bambu’s transformation of the retirement home into Bambu Senior Coliving® - Mandeville with energy-saving and green technology will supplement existing services and programs in the local area. Compassionate certified nursing assistants (CNAs) also will offer leading wellness therapies.

Team Bambu ensured that our first community would address an essential need for a safe, superior quality senior and assisted living experience in Mandeville. Bambu Senior Coliving® is a community living concept that will provide residents with an opportunity to live independently longer and among peers. Bambu’s new coliving residence, on the site of an established assisted living facility, is a modern, environmentally friendly design filled with advanced technologies. Residents benefit from services provided in an enjoyable, comfortable setting that encourages individuality, independence and social interaction.

We will develop similar ventures around the region and create other communities for people aged 55 plus who live independent lives and active lifestyles. Our focus is to be best in class providing superior services for the residents and superior investment returns for Bambu Fund shareholders.

With over 45 years of continuous operating history, J. H. Dunstan & Associates’ qualified and experienced staff manages the renewal of this property. By incorporating architectural and planning elements of Aesthetic Design Ltd, Dunstan will build an energy-efficient facility that will be friendly to the natural environment and enhance the quality of life for the residents and the surrounding community.
