Adding to the global wellness, Bambu is launching the Bambu Wellness brand with the development of L’Elite MediSpa at Bambu Wellness Bambu Villa – Montego Bay.

Bambu Villa has perhaps the most glorious view of sea and sky on Jamaica’s renowned north coast. Elegantly located nine miles west of the heart of Montego Bay, perched atop a hill on 8 acres, is a unique melding of West Indies’ architecture and Italian Venetian style. Its Palladian arches, dramatic central pool and breathtaking view make it one of the most iconic locations for respite. Multi-million dollar renovations of interiors and grounds enhanced this elegant villa with a captivating view.

L’Elite MediSpa was founded by Nurse Practitioner Richina Lukes-Milledge, a Bambu Fund senior advisor, in 2016 in Melville, NY. Responding to the need for quality wellness services based on the L’Elite motto of “Beauty from the Inside Out,” Lukes-Milledge expanded to Brooklyn in 2021. Extending the MediSpa into Montego Bay under the Bambu umbrella will allow area residents and tourists to experience a self-care lifestyle in a luxurious, tranquil environment that represents Bambu Wellness.

Bambu’s founding medical director, the late Dr. Marcy Street, was an American Academy of Dermatology board-certified dermatologist, medical director, and Mohs surgeon. Treatments designed and utilized by Dr. Street in her Michigan practice will add to the proven services of L’Elite MediSpa as it enters the Jamaican market.
